Electrostatic discharge
Fluid flowing through a hose can generate static electricity. Choose a hose with sufficient conductivity to ensure the static charge to the ground and allow static electricity to dissipate. If static electricity is possible in an application, choose an electrostatic dissipating hose and ground it properly.
vibration
The amount of vibration of the system should be considered when selecting the hose. Metal hoses may not be suitable for systems with persistent or severe vibration.
The length of the
Hose movement, system pressurization, and thermal expansion must be considered when determining hose length. When the hose length is not enough to meet the requirements of the above factors, the hose service life will be shortened.
Minimum bending radius
The minimum bend radius of the hose must be observed. If the bending radius of the hose is too small, the hose may be twisted and its service life may be shortened.
Strain of hose
Bending the part too close to the hose/connector connection may cause the hose to break or leak.
Absorption of motion
Distribute the movement by sufficient hose length and prevent bending less than the minimum bend radius of the hose.
Machine tool tolerance
Changes in length due to machine movements and tolerances must be considered.
System pressure variation
Adequate hose length should be used to accommodate system pressure changes. Do not connect the high pressure hose to the low pressure hose.
Bend in the same plane
Hose bending should be done on the same plane to avoid distortion. For complex bending, use multiple hoses or other isolation measures.
